Real Sociedad coach Philippe Montanier has joked that he hopes Real Madrid opts to play with Cristiano Ronaldo in goal when the two sides meet on Sunday.The 48-year-old was poking fun at Jose Mourinho's recent decision to drop shot-stopper Iker Casillas for los Blancos' recent defeat to Malaga, a situation which the Portuguese trainer has still yet to explain.
“I hope they play with Cristiano Ronaldo in goal and Iker Casillas on the right wing!” Montanier chuckled at a press conference, before addressing more serious matters.
“We are seven games unbeaten, but let's not forget that they [Real Madrid] have won six and drawn two at the Bernabeu, with an average of three goals scored.
“It will be a difficult but exciting challenge.”
