The former Spanish U21 custodian has hit out at the Catalan club after an unsuccessful term at the club, claiming that the Liga giant made no effort to keep him.
Mallorca's new signing and former Barcelona goalkeeper Ruben Mino has expressed his relief at having a chance to make a fresh start in his career, after an unhappy spell at Camp Nou.Mino made just one appearance for the first team during the eight years he was at Barcelona, after starting at La Masia at the age of 15.
"I did not notice them do anything to make me stay. They did not trust me," explained the goalkeeper.
After signing for fellow La Liga outfit Mallorca, Mino admitted that he knew his time with the Catalan side had come to an end.
"Last summer I aimed to be promoted to the first team squad, but it did not happen," he said. "There were not the right conditions for my success at Barcelona."
