Pedro 'saddened' by Barcelona's defeat to Osasuna
The winger has expressed his disdain at the result, but more so at their failure to overcome the Pamplona side, as the champions now face falling 10 points behind Real Madrid
By Livio Caferoglu
Barcelona forward Pedro says his team is saddened at the manner of its 3-2 defeat to Osasuna in La Liga on Saturday.
The Blaugrana were stunned by a Dejan Lekic-inspired outfit in Pamplona, after the former Red Star Belgrade player's two goals, along with Raul Garcia's strike, rendered Cristian Tello and Alexis Sanchez's efforts insignificant, and the winger was the quickest to voice his displeasure at the final outcome.
"We're saddened by how the game has gone. We're unhappy," said Pedro after the match. "We struggled to get into the game and Osasuna came out of it the strongest. We should have been able to overcome them, but ultimately we could not."
Barcelona could fall 10 points behind Real Madrid at the league summit if the Blancos beat Levante at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday evening.
