Radamel Falcao says Atletico Madrid's hard work is paying off
The Colombian is thrilled that the club are finally starting to show some positive form, while he refused to be drawn into the controversy surrounding refereeing in Spain

Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao says he is happy with the club's recent rise in form.
The Spanish capital club got off to a dismal start to the season but currently sits seventh in the Liga standings as new coach Diego Simeone has overseen a recovery in its form.
Falcao has played a leading role in Atletico's three-game winning run with five goals, and the Colombian striker is happy with the club's recent success.
"The work we have been doing, the sacrifice, it is all paying off," Falcao told reporters. "The team is convinced of what it wants. We have improved, which has allowed us to turn our situation around.
"We know where we are: out of the European places. If we get a good result against Valencia [on Sunday], things will improve. If we do things right, we will keep growing."
The former Porto striker, who joined Atletico in the summer in a 40 million euro move, then played down the controversy surrounding Barca and the state of refereeing in Spain.
"Referees are human beings and they make mistakes," Falcao said. "We must not pay attention to those details, all we have to do is play. This is a game and referees try to do their job as well as possible."
