Dusko Tosic has returned to Red Star Belgrade after deciding to prematurely end his loan spell at Real Betis.
The 26-year-old joined the new boys on deadline day in August, agreeing a season-long loan from the Serbian giants, but went on to make only two appearances for the Spanish club.
Fresh from the announcement of Tosic's return in a statement posted on Red Star's official website, the player himself has since vowed to make up for lost time.
"I do not want to look back, and perhaps I was wrong [to leave originally], but I look forward [to coming back]," said Tosic. "The only thing I'm thinking of is Red Star and continuing with the good results we have already achieved."
Tosic, a full Serbia international and whose previous clubs include Portsmouth and Werder Bremen, only played 37 minutes in the Primera Division.
