thumbnail Hello,

The Argentina international appears keen to put himself on Real Madrid's to-sell list after some highly controversial remarks.

Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Gago seems to be pushing himself out of the club after declaring Barcelona is far superior to his side.

The Argentine midfielder is expected to leave the club in the summer after several injuries in the past two seasons restricted him to just a peripheral role at the club.

Gago recently indicated he would not make a decision on his future before talking to coach Jose Mourinho, but his latest remarks will certainly not go down well at Real Madrid, as he praised his club's arch-rival.

"Barcelona is the best team in history. It is well above Real Madrid and the fans do not want to admit it," Gago told ESPN Argentina.

Gago, who moved to Real Madrid in 2006 for 20.4 million euros, has been linked with a move to his former club, Boca Juniors.
