According to Barcelona's medical staff, Pep Guardiola's condition is improving, but it is still unclear as to whether he will make the Zaragoza game on Saturday.
They did confirm however, that the 40-year-old will miss training tonight after having already missed the afternoon session.
Guardiola was admitted to hospital with a slipped disc, having been in visible pain during the Blaugrana's last match against Valencia, and has already received therapy and pharmacology.
Barcelona will be hopeful of his presence on the bench, as they look to increase their gap at the top of the table when they invite Zaragoza to the Camp Nou. Real Madrid will be looking to deny them that opportunity however, when they face Racing Santander at El Sardinero on Sunday.
The club's medical staff are expected to decide tomorrow whether or not he will be able to take to the bench. If Guardiola misses out, he is expected to be covered by his assistant Tito Vilanova, who has also taken up some of the coach's media duties this week.
