Sevilla 'Keeper Andres Palop: Real Madrid Defeat Motivates Us
The veteran stopper says his side showed they are a match for any side.

Sevilla goalkeeper Andres Palop has stated that Saturday's defeat to Real Madrid "hurt" his side but insisted that los Nervionenses can use the game as motivation, declaring that the defeat at the Bernabeu showed no team is unbeatable.
The Andalusian side lead 2-0 ten minutes into the second half, largely against the run of play before Madrid piled on the pressure and eventually ran out 3-2 winners thanks to Rafael Van der Vaart's late winner.
"That defeat hurt us but we are motivated. Any loss is painful but it was a moral victory for us because we know that we stood up to Real Madrid and we were very close victory. So I think that should serve as motivation to understand that no opponent is invincible and that we can stand up anyone," the 36-year-old shot stopper was quoted as saying by Marca.
Sevilla face a crucial Primera Liga tie against fellow Champions League chasers Deportivo La Coruna at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Saturday before renewing Champions League duties against CSKA Moscow next week.
