Real Madrid kept up the pace at the top of the table with a win over Espanyol, and Raul Albiol believes that the season can end in success.

Speaking to Marca after the game, Albiol said, "We feel more comfortable now."

"We are a lot stronger now that we know each other.

We must continue in this vein.

"We cannot fail in the League or Champions League."

Albiol then analyzed the match, continuing, "Today we began very well."

"The first half was good, and then we controlled the game with a two goal advantage. It was important to win, and 3-0 is a good result.

"We have played a lot of games having seen Barcelona's result. They are not going to drop many points, so we have to win all our games.

"We know that to win the league, we need around 90 points."
