Report: Real Madrid Preparing Appeal Over Cristiano Ronaldo Ban
Los Merengues aiming to have the ban reduced.

Real Madrid are to submit an appeal to the Spanish Football Federation's Appeals Committee in relation to the two-match ban received by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo received a straight red card in the weekend win over Malaga for striking Patrick Mtiliga in the face with a trailing arm as he looked to evade the challenge of the Dane and the Competition Committee found him guilty of "dangerous play", warranting a two-game suspension.
Real maintain that Ronaldo's action was not an infringement of rules and was instead a coming together of two players and they are believed to be submitting a video of a similar incident involving Lionel Messi and Marc Valiente from a recent Primera Liga game between Barcelona and Sevilla which resulted in no punishment.
Los Merengues have ten days to mount an appeal and according to AS they club's legal team are already at work preparing their case.
