Real Madrid's Pellegrini: We Want To Beat Marseille And Finish As Group Winners
The coach is expecting a tough game at Stade Velodrome.
Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini has declared that his team will be going for the win against Marseille in the UEFA Champions League tie at Stade Velodrome on Tuesday night.
Los Merengues only need to avoid a three goal defeat to ensure progression to the knockout stages of the competition but the Chilean insists that his team will be looking to finish top of the group.
"We will not be looking to take refuge in such a scoreline. We come here to win against Marseille and try to qualify top of the group," Pellegrini declared.
He also said he is expecting a tough game and a difficult atmosphere against the Ligue 1 side, who must win to give themselves hope of qualifying.
"We have seen all their games. We know that their fans will be behind them in their stadium and we know it will be a very difficult game."
