Barcelona are set to resume their Primera Division campaign after the international break by paying a visit to Athletic Bilbao on Saturday evening. Unfortunately for coach Pep Guardiola, he has several problems that he must contend with.
It was announced on Thursday that striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic had aggravated a thigh injury and will definitely miss the trip to San Mames. His condition will be evaluated in the coming days, and it may be that he also misses the midweek clash with Inter.
In addition, Eric Abidal has been sidelined with swine flu, while Yaya Toure is also showing symptoms of the virus. Neither player was able to train on Friday.
In better news for Guardiola, Seydou Keita and Jeffren have both been given a clean bill of health while Thierry Henry trained normally alongside the rest of the squad today.
