The Bernabeu welcomes a very quick special guest this evening.

World champion Usain Bolt, regarded by many as the greatest sprinter in history, will kick off Real Madrid's new season later tonight at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

According to Real Madrid's official website and Marca, Bolt will make his way down to the pitch prior to the game to kick off the match, and then head up to the Presidential Box where he will watch the game alongside other VIPs.

Bolt, a long declared fan of Los Blancos, recently broke the world record for both the 100 and 200 metres sprint in Berlin this summer, and will arrive from Zurich to Madrid this afternoon. A press conference feautring Bolt will be held at the stadium the following morning at 11:00 CET.

The Jamaican sprinter joins the illustrious list of Real Madrid fans who are also world renowned athletes, alongside F1 champion Fernando Alonso and tennis star Rafa Nadal.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Karim Benzema and Xabi Alonso will make their official debuts tonight in what will be a star-studded line-up by the Meringues.

Real Madrid kick off against Deportivo at 20:00 CET.
