Arjen Robben Wants To Stay At Real Madrid
Despite the plethora of attacking players at the Bernabeu, the Dutchman is not going anywhere.
Having come off the bench and scored the last goal against Toronto FC, Arjen Robben maintained that his desire was to stay at Real Madrid.
Speaking to AS, the Dutchman first analyzed the game, saying, "When you play well and score a goal, it is a positive on an individual level.
"We all played well against a strong, athletic team. We showed some great touches in both halves.
"It was a great performance."
Robben, who reportedly rejected an offer from Tottenham Hotspur recently, then spoke about his future, continuing, "My intention is to stay here [at Madrid].
"I believe that I can help this team a lot. I have a lot of confidence for the coming season."
Finally, he spoke of his relationship with coach Manuel Pellegrini, stating, "We have spoken, although not too much.
"But for me, the most important thing is to prove my worth in training and matches."
