Salgado 6.5 - The veteran raced up and down the flank and was even able to produce a good shot in the closing moments of the match.
Pepe 7 - A great display at the back that led to the Real Madrid fans chanting the defender's name.
Metzelder 6.5 - Looked cumbersome at times and strong at others, but regained his composure to nod home his first goal of the pre-season.
Marcelo 6.5 - Showed some good touches in the first half as he tried several shots and battled back well.
Gago 5.5 - Beaten twice at corners, with the second being a goal, and was not strong enough in midfield against a physical side.
Guti 5.5 - Frustrated at time, the playmaker was not afforded much space and he was limited with what he was able to produce.
Ronaldo 7 - Better than on Sunday, as he looked keen and sharper and did well with his one successful step-over move that won the penalty.
Robben 5.5 - Full of running, but in reality produced little to test the Liga de Quito defence and was withdrawn before half-time.
Higuain 4.5 - Virtually anonymous throughout and Manuel Pellegrini will be looking for him to recover his form from last season.
Benzema 6.5 - If he is to lead Real Madrid's assault against Barcelona next term then he will have to involve himself more.
