thumbnail Hello,

The former Spain boss has finally parted ways with the Turkish giants.

Luis Aragones, whose departure was decided a month ago, is officially no longer Fenerbahce's manager - Goal.com Turkey tells us.

Turkish correspondent Ehrun Geyisi has informed us that the club have finalized the process with the former Spain boss. All that remains now is for the club to release an official statement.

Aragones was sacked as Fenerbahce's coach earlier in the month, but a conflict of interest between the parties involved resulted in a delayed departure for the 70-year-old gaffer.

With three years left on his contract, Aragones reportedly demanded the maximum amount of money possible to him as severance for leaving the club.

With negotiations now over, former Cologne boss Christoph Daum is expected to be announced as Fener's new manager in the very near future.
