Zinedine Zidane was back in a Real Madrid shirt today as he played for a veterans side against prison inmates.
The official Real Madrid website reports that Zidane, who is linked with a possible move back to the club if Florentino Perez returns, showed he still possesses plenty of skill and was at the heart of the action as his side won 8-1.
The game was played at Real Madrid's training complex of Valdebebas and Zidane was joined by some other greats too.
The likes of Velasco, who scored three times in the win, Ivan Perez, who grabbed one goal, and Isidro, who scored a superb effort, all joined the Frenchman in the match.
The result was not the most important aspect though as the players basked in the sun and appeared to be enjoying themselves.
Zidane's appearance was very much a surprise for all at the game as he has not really taken part in the encounters before, despite training with the veterans.
Since hanging up his boots after the World Cup in 2006, he has mainly played in charity events and those organized by friends.
