Raul The Reserve

On To The Derby
Real Madrid's Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain has made it known he wasn't happy with how his team played against AC Milan in the Champions League, but you can't dwell on the performance and they now have to turn their attention to Derby Day when the face Atletico on Saturday.

Tit For Tat
Didier Drogba and Kun Aguero went blow for blow in Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Atletico Madrid. Both strikers notched a late brace in the draw that eliminates Atletico. Goal.com's Alex Diamond says the game should convince anyone still hesitant about a partnership between Drogba and Aguero.

Homecoming Draw
Kaka made his first return to the San Siro since his megabucks move to Real Madrid this summer in a 1-1 draw with AC Milan. Karim Benzema took advantage of a defensive mistake to finish off a goal created by the Brazilian playmaker. Ronaldinho scored a penalty to level.

Things are pretty dire on Merseyside at the moment as Liverpool have all-but officially dropped out of the EPL title race and find themselves in a rough situation in the Champions League. Head coach Rafa Benitez says his team must overcome this situation and beat Lyon this afternoon.
