Neuer: Bayern must stop Arsenal's approach

The goalkeeper is hoping to stifle the Gunners as him and his teammates head to the Emirates Stadium for Wednesday's Champions League encounter full of confidence.
Manuel Neuer has told his Bayern Munich teammates that they must stifle Arsenal's passing game if they are to win at the Emirates Stadium.

The Bavarians defeated Arsene Wenger's side in the Champions League on away goals last term en route to the title but were made to survive a scare when the Gunners won 2-0 at the Allianz Arena.

However, the Germany goalkeeper is optimistic over his side's chances of winning in north London once more as the team prepares for a rematch.

"We need to put in a good performance as a team and act decisively," he told reporters. "I hope that we get into the same spaces as Arsenal when they try to pass neatly. We have to stop them.

"It's going to be huge, we go the most exciting draw with Arsenal. We are confident and we want to win there."
