Bayern Munich has been handed a trip to Bavarian rival Augsburg in the third round of the 2013-14 DFB Pokal.
Pep Guardiola's side, which won its record 16th German cup competition last term, thrashed Hannover 4-1 at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday thanks to Thomas Muller's double and a strike apiece from Claudio Pizarro and Franck Ribery.
Meanwhile, Bundesliga leader Borussia Dortmund has been a handed a decidedly easier draw: A trip to third-tier Saarbrucken, as it looks to regain the trophy it last won in 2012.
Schalke, the 2011 winner of the tournament, will face top-flight opposition in the form of Hoffenheim at the Veltins Arena, while Bayer Leverkusen faces Freiburg in another eye-catching tie.
Hamburg will tackle Koln, relegated from the top flight in 2012, at the Imtech Arena, Wolfsburg hosts Inglostadt, Eintracht Frankfurt entertains Sandhausen and Union Berlin plays Kaiserslautern in the remaining fixtures.
The third round of the DFB Pokal will take place on the week beginning Dec. 2.
