The promising youngster was over the moon with his first team debut on Saturday, even though he needed some time to find his feet after coming off the bench.
The 17-year-old came off the bench with 20 minutes to go to become the youngest Bundesliga player in Bayern's history and the Danish midfielder has stressed it was a dream come true to make his first-team debut.
"To be honest, I was really wetting myself," Hojbjerg was quoted as saying on the official Bayern website. "It's unbelievable, a dream. I still can't believe it's true. I keep having to pinch myself."
He added, "After about five minutes I got on the ball a couple of times, and that helped me calm down."
Hojbjerg joined the Bayern youth academy from Brondby in the summer of 2011.
