The Bavarian powerhouse is brimming with confidence following its win over Borussia Dortmund in the German curtain raiser on Sunday, led by their goalkeeperManuel Neuer insists Bayern Munich has the quality to beat anyone after defeating rival Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at the weekend.
The Bavarians had lost their five previous encounters against the reigning German champions before Sunday's DFL-Supercup victory, and the Germany goalkeeper is now high on confidence.
"We have shown that we are ready for it, and that we can beat any team we face," Neuer was quoted as saying by Bild.
Meanwhile, Franck Ribery has moved to underline the magnitude of what the Supercup success means for last year's Bundesliga runners-up.
"This was an important game for Bayern," the Frenchman noted. "The win is a real confidence boost for us."
