thumbnail Hello,

Rising USA defender Sacir Hot is on trial at Gladbach, and could join the Fohlen in the next few days.

In this year's winter transfer window, Bundesliga relegation battlers Borussia Moenchengladbach have already signed Havard Nordtveit and Martin Stranzl to shore up their ailing defence. However, die Fohlen appear not to be finished adding reinforcements to their back line after giving a trial to United States under-20 defender Sacir Hot.

According to MLSsoccer.com, Hot has joined fellow American Michael Bradley at Gladbach.

"If everything goes well, I may be able to sign a professional contract," he told the American website.

Depending on his experiences in Gladbach, Hot could later visit league leaders Dortmund. The 19-year-old was part of the Red Bulls Academy as a youngster, and now plays for the Boston College Eagles.
