Bordeaux recorded a solid victory over Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena and Goal.com was on hand to rate the performance of the players.
Butt - 4.5: Had a decent match between the Bayern sticks but made one of the worst howlers in the Champions League so far when he came out miles away from his goal to try and confront Marouane Chamakh, failed and allowed the Moroccan to slot the ball into an empty net.
Lahm - 6: Looked below par but appeared strong both at the back and in attack but could have done better with his crosses and link-up plays.
Badstuber - 5.5: Had a moderate game at the back and didn't do anything exceptional.
Demichelis - 5.5: Looked decent in central defense but allowed the Bordeaux attackers to run into spaces at times.
Braafheid - 6.5: Didn't look very comfortable at the back as he left spaces that could have been exploited by the Bordeaux attacking players. But he did make some valuable contributions in the attacking department by trying his luck with a free-kick and floating in decent crosses.
Schweinsteiger - 6: Like in the first game between the two sides, the German tried his best to create chances, went close with a free-kick and tried bulldoze his way through the Bordeaux backline but had limited opportunities.
Tymoshchuk - 7: Had a good game today, looked capable defensively, made a few important challenges and also tried to create for his strikers and passed the ball around well.
Van Bommel - 4.5: The tough midfielder had a mixed game today as he tried to create and penetrate the opposition defense. But it was his poor marking skill and positional sense that led to the first goal that put Bayern on the back foot.
Pranjic - 5: Looked anonymous for most of the game but worked hard.
Klose - 4.5: Doesn't look to be the player he once was and with supply from the midfield restricted, the German striker failed to strike any danger into the hears of Bordeaux defenders.
Toni - 5: The giant Italian international had one good chance but like Klose couldn't do much without the supply from the midfield.
Robben - 7: Came on at the start of the second and could have scored soon after. Slightly fizzled out towards the end but was the sole creative spark for Bayern.
Gomez - 6: Didn't have much to do after he came on but took one audacious shot from a long range that landed up nowhere. But he was more mobile than his fellow strikers.
Carrasso - 7: Had a good game for Bordeaux as he tipped a Braafheid cross over the bar after just two minutes and saved two or three free-kicks, one a brilliant save off Schweinsteiger.
Chalme - 7: Put in a solid shift at right-back and made a few important interventions.
Ciani - 6.5: Appeared to have made a hand-ball clearance in the first-hand but barring that looked capable of keeping the Bayern frontmen in check.
Planus - 7: Like Ciani, the central defender looked strong and capable at the back, making a number of important interventions.
Tremoulinas - 6.5: Didn't look very sound marching down the left side as he did against Bayern back in France a fortnight ago but was an important figure nevertheless.
Plasil - 7: Looked good in midfield and kept his opposition numbers in check.
Diarra - 7.5: Was a rock in the midfield and also helped his side back at the defence on set-piece situations on a number of times
Wendel - 6.5: Didn't have a very good game today but it was his free-kick that led to the first goal.
Fernando - 6.5: Complemented his fellow midfielders well and looked very good at stopping the opposition and breaking their moves.
Gourcuff - 7.5: Scored the game's first goal and tried two or three shots. Looked quite creative and kept the Bayern defenders on their toes throughout the 90 minutes.
Chamakh - 6.5: Wasn't very prominent until he popped up with his goal that wrapped up all three points for the French side.
