Franck Ribery has made no bones of his wish for a new challenge this summer, being quoted in the media as expressing a desire to team up with free-spending Real Madrid.
Bayern Munich have so far rejected all approaches made for Ribery, with executive chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge stressing that the player will not be allowed to leave the Allianz Arena under any circumstances.
However, the French international seems eager to do everything within his power to ensure that his exit will happen after missing today's training with Bayern, according to a report in AS.
Ribery, who has a valid contract with Bayern until 2011, is believed to be valued at around the €70million mark.
