Bayern Not Giving Up Hope Over Jose Bosingwa
The Bavarian giants are still hopeful that they can strengthen their defence with the signing of the Blues' Portuguese star.
Bayern Munich are refusing to give up hope that they will be able to sign Chelsea full-back Jose Bosingwa this summer.
The Bundesliga giants are keen to sign a quality right-back and had identified the 26-year-old Portuguese international as their first-choice.
Chelsea however don’t appear keen to sell, but that hasn’t deterred the Germans from continuing their pursuit.
“We are still in the hunt for a right-sided full-back” chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Sportbild-Online.
“We are convinced by Bosingwa and believe that he would fit in well at Bayern Munich. We are still in contact with Chelsea and I am not pessimistic, that the book is closed on this instance.”
Bayern have already signed defenders Danijel Pranjic and Edson Braafheid this summer, but are still keen on bringing some more quality to their back line.
