With the Scudetto celebrations over, Inter have set out to complete the signing of Genoa stars Diego Milito and Thiago Motta.

The Serie A champions have been in negotiations to sign the Argentine striker for months and ‘El Principe’ was in Milan yesterday to iron out the final details.

Milito is expected to pen a four-year deal worth €3.6 million, while Brazilian playmaker Thiago Motta, who has rekindled his career at Marassi this term, will tie himself to the Beneamata until 2014 with wages of €3m per year.

And La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti will personally hammer out a deal with the Grifoni when he meets with Enrico Preziosi today.

As has been suggested in recent weeks, Inter will splash out almost €30m to secure the architects of Genoa’s stellar campaign: €16m in cash plus the services of striker Robert Acquafresca who is valued at around €13m.

Moreover, the Nerazzurri will loan out 22-year-old defender Leonardo Bonucci and goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano, who is currently with Brescia but agreed a switch to the Lombardy giants last February.
