Bundesliga side Hannover 96 have brought Danish midfielder Leon Andreasen back to Germany after signing the 25-year-old from Fulham.
The Niedersachsen side, who are currently 13th in the Bundesliga, have made Andreasen their first winter signing and given him a contract until 2012.
"With this transfer, which has a lot of potential for the future, we can react to our long injury list," explained Hannover president Martin Kind.
Andreasen has 47 Bundesliga appearances to his name already, having played for Werder Bremen and Mainz between 2005 and 2007. He has scored six goals.
Hannover have suffered horribly with injuries this season and currently have Jan Schlaudraff, Vinicius, Steve Cherundolo, Altin Lala and Valerien Ismael out injured.
