On-loan forward Landon Donovan scored his second goal for Bayern Munich on Monday evening in an exhibition match against second division team Kaiserslautern.

The 26-year-old Donovan is formally a member of the LA Galaxy but joined the German outfit in late December on a short-term loan until the new MLS season begins in March.

Over 42,000 German fans turned out to watch the mid-season exhibition between the two teams from Fritz-Walter Stadium in Kaiserslautern.

Italian striker Luca Toni scored Bayern’s other goal in their convincing 2-0 victory over their old rivals, who are currently atop BundesLiga 2.

The reigning Bundesliga champs resume their regular season play on January 30th when they take on Hamburger SV.
