Bundesliga: Gomez, VfB Stuttgart (firo)
Although Gomez has failed to impress at Euro 2008, interest in his services is understood to be high, with a number of European teams monitoring his situation.
German sports daily Bild says Bayern Munich are lining up a move for the 22-year-old as they plan on strengthening the squad upon their return to the Champions League.
But Stuttgart are reportedly reluctant to part with their striker and will only listen to offers of at least 35 million.
While Gomez refused to comment on this matter, his agent, Maurizio Gaudino, confirmed that Bayern Munich have indeed expressed their wish to sign the German striker.
