The defender is amazed at how consistent the Bianconeri have been this season while coach Antonio Conte insists nothing is over yet.
Giorgio Chiellini says Juventus is inching closer to securing its third consecutive Serie A title.
Antonio Conte's men beat Livorno 2-0 on Monday night thanks to a first-half brace from Fernando Llorente that restored its lead above Roma at the top of the table to eight points with just six games remaining.
Chiellini is proud of the way the Bianconeri bounced back from last week's 2-0 defeat to Napoli and feels his side is getting ever closer to clinching the title again.
"We have been sending messages to the rest of the league for a long time, as we are extraordinarily consistent," he told Sky Sport Italia. "A single slip-up was physiologically likely, but we reacted well to that. We put in a good performance, there’s still a way to go yet, but the finish line is getting closer and closer.
"We are ready to go all the way both in Serie A and Europe. We’re getting closer to the finish line and that fires us up."
The Old Lady will carry on a 1-0 lead into the second leg of their Europa League quarterfinal when it hosts Lyon on Thursday.
