AC Milan friendly called off due to racist chants

The Rossoneri's fixture against fourth-tier club Pro Patria was abandoned because of disrespectful chants by the host supporters toward Kevin-Prince Boateng.
AC Milan's mid-season friendly fixture against Pro Patria was abandoned after Kevin-Prince Boateng became the victim of racist chants.

The former Ghana international was dribbling down the flank after 25 minutes of play in a section of the stand populated by Pro Patria's fans.

He soon stopped playing, picked up the ball, and kicked it towards the Pro Patria support, prompting further jeers from the crowd. The referee decided to abandon the match a minute later.

Two other players, Mbaye Niang and Sulley Muntari, were also reportedly taunted at the match due to their race.
