The 28-year-old striker says he needs to improve his record in front of goal, and believes a change in formation helped him to score
The former Inter striker netted for the first time in the league since Sept. 1, and the Italian relished the change of shape that Massimiliano Allegri adopted against Eugenio Corini's side.
"I'm glad [to finally have scored], and I hope it is the first of many to come," Pazzini told Corriere dello Sport. "It had been a long time [since the last time I scored], too long perhaps. I wanted to repay the fans for their affections, and a goal is the perfect way to do that. The change to a 4-2-3-1 formation is important for me, because it means that I am not that far from goal."
The result leaves the Rossoneri in seventh place in the table, with 14 points from their first 11 games of the campaign.
