The young coach is pleased with the Dutchman's positive attitude as he's working on his recovery, but he will not rush Sneijder back.

Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni says that Wesley Sneijder is highly motivated to return to match action again, but added that the Nerazzurri will not rush his comeback as they do not want to take any unnecessary risks. The Netherlands international is currently sidelined with a thigh injury, but resumed individual training earlier this week.

"I like what I've seen from him, he's highly motivated. He wants to get back as quickly as possible," Stramaccioni said at a press conference. "Wesley's getting restless, but, as you know, players will only return if they're 100 percent. I don't like to rush anyone back.

"He had his first tests with [Inter Milan doctor Franco Combi] yesterday, and, when he's available for selection, then we'll talk about his return to action."

Stramaccioni then went on to discuss Inter's progress in recent weeks, and stressed that the club will remain humble.

"We're working well at the moment, we saw that on Sunday. We're relaxed and keeping our feet on the ground," Stramaccioni said. "We have it in our minds to work hard and improve game by game without taking any notice of the league table, which could distract us from our main goal which is hard graft."

Inter's next test is Thursday's UEFA Europa League game at home against Partizan.
