The Brazil international has yet to make his first official appearance for the San Siro side this term due to injury, but is set to make his comeback against Lazio at the weekend after being included in the 21-man match squad.
"Pato is in good shape and he has been training well since his return to the training ground," Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.
He added, "However, we should not forget that he has been out of action for a long time, and his comeback is a gradual process.
"It's up to coach Massimiliano Allegri to decide how he will use him."
