The 20 clubs in Italy's top-flight division have learned their fate after the calendar for the new campaign were drawn up in Milan on Thursday afternoon
The Lega Calcio has released the complete fixture list for the 2012-13 Serie A season.Reigning champions Juventus will begin the defence of its title against Parma on home soil, which will see Sebastian Giovinco face his former employer.
Elsewhere, last season's runner-up AC Milan will entertain new boys Sampdoria in the opening weekend on August 25-26, while Inter travel to Pescara and Napoli to Palermo.
The first Milan derby of the season will take place in the seventh round of fixtures, which begins on October 7. Lazio and Roma, meanwhile, will lock horns for the first time five weeks later.
There will be four breaks during the season on September 9, October 14, December 30 and March 24, with the three midweek rounds scheduled for September 26, October 31 and May 8.
The curtains will fall on the competition on May 19 in a mouth-watering round of games, which sees Juventus host Sampdoria, Roma travel to Napoli and Inter meet Udinese at the Friuli.
