The Italy international feels that Juve is worthy of winning the Scudetto, but stressed the club is not there just yet with four more games to be played.
The Old Lady currently sit atop of the league table with 74 points from 34 games, leading AC Milan by three points, and the goalkeeper feels the club is worthy of lifting the 2011-12 Scudetto.
"We deserve the title. We have not lost a single game, not even in the Coppa Italia. We have conceded very few goals, and we are a team that has made sacrifices," Buffon was quoted as saying by L'Equipe. "The team has put in a lot of hard work and has the desire to surprise everyone. We are proud to have achieved something incredible."
The 34-year-old then went on to emphasize that Juventus has not won the title just yet, and should remain cautious.
"Let's just say there is a good chance that we can win the title, but nothing has been decided yet," he said. "I have plenty of experience and we have to remain cautious.
"There are four more games to go, which is not a lot. But many things can happen in a short period."
Juventus is currently preparing for the away match against Novara on Sunday.
