The Slovakia international has reportedly put an end to speculation about his future at the San Paolo by penning a new deal with the Partenopei.
Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik has signed a new contract that will keep him at the southern Italian side until 2016, according to Sky Sport Italia.The Slovakia international has been previously linked with a summer exit, along with Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi.
However, Hamsik has now reportedly committed his future to the San Paolo outfit by signing a one-year extension with the Partenopei.
Earlier in the week, Hamsik insisted that he was not planning to leave Napoli. The 24-year-old midfielder has made 43 competitive appearances this season for Napoli, which is sixth in the Serie A table.
