thumbnail Hello,

The Chilean star hailed the importance of his goal and says that his team remain confident in the Italian title race after closing the gap to rival AC Milan on Sunday

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is hopeful that his side can finish the season at the top of the Serie A table following the 3-0 victory over Napoli.

After an uneventful first half from both clubs, Leonardo Bonucci, Vidal and Fabio Quagliarella gave the Bianconeri a comfortable win over the Partenopei.

The result sees Juventus close the gap to leader AC Milan to just two points, and Vidal trusts his side's chances to go all the way in the competition.

"The goal I scored was spectacular and the team needed it at that time," he told Sky Sport Italia. "After the second goal, everything became easier for us. We needed this victory to get within touching distance of the top. I think that coach Antonio Conte is doing a great job and the team has bounced back from a difficult moment."

"We believe we can win the Scudetto and we want to stay on this track until the end. We hope we can be champions."

Juventus will travel to Palermo on Saturday in their next Serie A fixture.
