Inter coach Claudio Ranieri is hopeful of getting a good result in Friday's Serie A match away against Chievo in order to get things back on track after a poor string of results.
The Nerazzurri have collected only two points from their last seven league games and the 60-year-old is determined to return to winning ways on Friday. However, he has warned against the poor state of the pitch at the Stadio Bentegodi.
"We aren't going through a good spell at the moment, we'll just have to roll up our sleeves and get on with the job in order to do better," Ranieri said in a press conference. "Now we are just concentrating on Chievo. We have to be careful because their pitch is a complete disaster. The first thing you have to stress when discussing tactics with the team is the playing surface.
"My players are used to these things and can adjust. I hope the lads are feeling the pressure and the determination needed for a match like tomorrow's. We were two goals down against Catania and they showed they can react."
