Inter's Samuel Eto'o delighted with Coppa Italia triumph and assures fans he will stay with the club

The former Barcelona striker was in jubilant mood after his team's successful defense of the Coppa Italia, and commented on his record of 37 goals this season.
Samuel Eto'o was in high spirits after his side 3-1 triumph over Palermo, which clinched the second Coppa Italia for Inter in as many years. The striker recorded a brace in this game to bring his tally for the season to 37 goals.

"37 goals is a great record, but retaining the Copa is a sweeter achievement. I would like to thank both sets of supporters for the wonderful evening," commented the striker for Rai.

The Cameroon international scored a goal in each half to put the cherry on the cake on a wonderful season on personal level. Eto'o assured Inter's fans that he will remain with the team in the next season.

"President [Massimo] Moratti commented on my future with the club, but after this magical night everthing is fine I am sure I will stay with Inter."

Tonight's triumph means Leonardo's men have collected no less than three titles this season. Despite losing the Scudetto to AC Milan, Inter collected the Supercoppa, the Club World Cup and finally the Coppa Italia to end the season on a high.
