Italy international has been entrusted with more familial responsibilities after he became a dad this morning, and everyone at the club hopes for the best.
AC Milan attacker Antonio Cassano became a father on Thursday morning after his wife Carolina gave birth to a boy.
Milan made the announced on their official website and added that the boy has been named Christopher.
“Congratulations Antonio Cassano and also to mum Carolina who gave birth to Christopher Cassano this morning!!!” reads the statement. “It was a special start to the morning for AC Milan with news coming through of the birth, a happy and important event in the life of the Rossonero striker.”
The Italian giants further acknowledged the new responsibility of the Italy international, who has suffered with attitude problems both on the pitch and off it during his career.
“The birth of a child is always a very special moment in every parent's life and now Cassano has a new found responsibility. And this moment has come when Antonio has also been producing some good performances for his club.”
Cassano, 28, has scored two goals in his last four matches for Milan, who host his former club Sampdoria at San Siro this weekend.
