Inter president Massimo Moratti is remaining upbeat despite the Nerazzurri losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday evening at the Giuseppe Meazza.

The patron was pleased with how the side played, and believes many more scoring chances can be created should the opportunities arise.

"We were very unlucky as it was a great match," Moratti told Sky Sport after the match. "[Coach] Leonardo was very good, as the team played well, creating good movement across the pitch.

"Now we need to play one good match, as we can still win 1-0 in Munich. Playing like we did this evening means we can create many chances."

Moratti was disappointed for defender Andrea Ranocchia, who had to be stretchered off midway through the second-half with a knee injury.

"It is a disappointment for Ranocchia's injury, a real shame," he concluded.

The return leg will be played on March 15.
