Dejan Stankovic has backed under-fire Inter coach Rafael Benitez.
The Serbia captain believes an evaluation of how the side performed can only be made at the end of the season.
"We have great players that are working hard for the club," Stankovic told Il Corriere Dello Sport. "If the club have chosen him [Benitez], they did not make the choice for the sake of it.
"Everyone on the team goes out to give it their all. When the results don't come, people believe there is a lack of passion or hunger to win. But as every day passes, there is a willingness to prove people wrong.
"I think we have more hunger than last season, but as we say in Italy, things will be worked out at the end.
"We now have an important month ahead to close out the calendar year that will remain in the history of Inter. As in life, there are ups and downs in football. The important thing is being ready to react positively," he concluded.
