Atalanta 1-1 Bologna

Atalanta almost won this relegation six-pointer as they led Bologna 1-0 until the final ten minutes at home. The first goal of the afternoon at the Stadio Azzurri D`Italia came in the 23rd minute when Tiberio Guarente scored from 45 yards. He found the target from a freekick as he lobbed the ball over Emiliano Viviano into the Bologna goal with his left foot. However, the goal came after the home side had won a spotkick in the eighth minute but Valdes couldn't get it past Viviano into the net. Atalanta had Maximiliano Pellegrino just before half time and conceded the equalized in the 82nd minute when Federico Peluso put the ball into his own goal.

Bari 3-0 Genoa

Riccardo Meggiorini scored the first goal of this match between two teams stuck in mid-table. It came in the 57th minute Vladimir Koman sent Meggiorini through and his left footed shot from the left side of the box seared into the top left corner of the Genoa net. Jose Ignacio Castillo made it 2-0 on 85 minutes and four minutes later Paulo Vito Barreto wrapped up the points with his side's third goal of the afternoon.

Cagliari 2-2 Udinese

Cagliari went 1-0 up as early as the 15th minute when Andrea Lazzari scored for the Sardinians. However, Udinese replied in style as they scored twice in the space of just two minutes. First, Antonio Di Natale equalized on 26 minutes and then in the 28th minute the Bianconeri netted their second through Alexis Sanchez. However, Neves Jeda restored parity for Cagliari two minutes before the hour mark.

Chievo 1-2 Napoli

Napoli consolidated a Europa League spot as they defeated Chievo 1-0 in Verona on Sunday afternoon. The only goal of the match came on the stroke of half time through German Denis. Pablo Granoche made it 1-1 with 15 minutes of normal time remaining but Ezequiel Lavezzi popped up with the winner for the Neapolitans in the 86th minute. Santiago Morero was sent off for Chievo on 89 minutes.
