thumbnail Hello,

Mino Raiola believes the teenager can no longer continue with the Nerazzurri unless major changes are made.

The agent of Inter starlet Mario Balotelli has described the situation between his client and the club as "lost" and "in a downward spiral" following the post-match events in the first-leg clash against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Mino Raiola stated yesterday that Balotelli has not handed in a transfer request and that he did not meet with Inter president Massimo Moratti to demand that the teenage striker be put up for sale.

However in his comments today, the agent felt that the situation was deteriorating at a rapid pace.

"It is now a lost situation and is moving in a downward spiral," suggested Raiola during an episode of Ventura Football Club on Radio 1, according to La Repubblica.

"This should have been the year of Mario. He has missed out on the national team, which was a dream of his.

"We will do everything possible to make sure this doesn't happen again next season and we'll see whether this can happen [earning a call-up to the national team] at Inter."

Balotelli recently apologized for his outburst following the match against Barcelona in which he threw his shirt to the floor at the final whistle and yelled back at the crowd. His actions have garnered criticism from the press, fans, and even team-mates.

"Mario agrees that he made a very ugly and unnecessary gesture and should not do it again," he continued.

"On Tuesday he entered the field with the desire to do well and maybe score the fourth and fifth goals, but then he heard the jeers of the fans and didn't understand the whistling. Honestly, he lost his head."
