Ex-Roma Defender Aldair Advises Fabio Simplicio To Join Roma
The stopper would like to see the Rosaneri midfielder wearing the Giallorossi colors.
By Rick D'Andrea
Former Roma defender Aldair insists that Palermo midfielder Fabio Simplicio should join the Giallorossi instead of Inter or Lazio.
The 30-year-old was strongly linked with a move to the Lupi, but a deal could not be struck between the two sides.
"I don't know what happened between the two parties, and the contract negotiations, but I have always liked Fabio as a player," the defender told Palermo24.net. "Should he leave Palermo, they will lose a very important player.
"There are rumours circulating that he could join Roma, and I can safely say that he will do well there because he is a great player with excellent qualities.
"I would advise him to go to the Lupi," concluded the 1994 World Cup winner.
