Milan may have gone down 2-0 to cross-town rivals Inter, but midfielder David Beckham believes there is still hope for his side to win the Scudetto.

Goals from Diego Milito and Goran Pandev helped secure the voctory for the Nerazzurri.

"We are very disappointed about the result," the former England captain said to the club's official website, ACMilan.com. "But this is part of football.

"It didn't matter that we had the numerical advantage, we were just unlucky, and this can happen.

"Nothing is lost, as there are still  a lot of matches to go until the end of the season. We can still catch up and win the Scudetto," Beckham concluded.
