Milan coach Leonardo could not be more happy with how events transpired against Genoa, as the Rossoneri won 5-2.

A smile off the Brazilian's face could not be taken away, as the re-entries of Gennaro Gattuso and David Beckham also pleased him.

"Restarting after going down a goal is never easy," the tactician told Ansa.it post-match. "But I am happy with how everyone played, as they were all excellent.

"David trained in all position, as we had some unexpected injuries prior to the match. He tried playing in those roles.

"He has a big willingness to play and lots of tactical intelligence.

"It would have been nice that [Gattuso] had of scored upon his re-entry to the side," summed up Leonardo.

Milan take on Juventus on Sunday night, when second place meets third.
