Parma's Panucci: I Won't Celebrate If I Score Against Roma

The defender has too much respect for his former side, thus, if he scores against the Giallorossi, he won't celebrate.
Parma defender Christian Panucci may have scored last week against Bologna, but admits that if he should do the same this weekend against former team, Roma, he will not celebrate the occasion.

Panucci spent nine years at the Eternal City, and joined the Ducali only this summer.

"Sunday will be a particular match for me," affirmed the 36-year-old to "Roma was the most important football team of my career.

"I will be playing against them, and will try to honor the Parma guernsey.

"I have a lot of respect for my past. I will be very happy if I score - like a child - but won't be in the mood to celebrate," Panucci concluded.

Fifth place will be taking on fourth when the match is played on Sunday.
